Gain clarity on key business decisions
Peer advisory groups are confidential groups designed to improve decision-making through structured discussion, challenge and real-world business experience. These are not networking groups or traditional coaching sessions.
Each group is led by a Vistage Chair — an experienced business leader who facilitates discussion, brings practical leadership experience into the room, and keeps conversations focused on the decisions, challenges and priorities that matter most.
Why leaders choose a peer advisory group
Many leaders don’t have access to a reliable external perspective on key decisions. Internal teams are often too close to the detail, and boards may not provide the ongoing external input required for day-to-day strategic decisions.
Senior leaders often make complex decisions with limited clarity, competing priorities and a lack of objective external input.
A peer advisory group provides a structured environment to test thinking before acting.
- Confidential executive environment — discuss real business and leadership decisions and challenges in a trusted setting
- Experience from other CEOs and business owners — gain perspective from leaders who have navigated similar challenges
- Structured challenge — pressure-test assumptions and explore alternatives before committing to decisions
- Execution discipline — turn priorities into action with accountability from experienced peers

How peer advisory groups work
Each month, you’ll meet with 10–16 CEOs and business owners — your peer advisory board. A trained Vistage Chair facilitates each session, ensuring members gain value from the collective experience. Members typically bring decisions, challenges or priorities to test, refine or gain perspective on.
Peer Group Meetings: Members bring real business challenges and opportunities. The group explores context, tests thinking and identifies practical next steps.
CEO Coach: Your Chair guides discussions to keep conversations focused and productive, and provides one-to-one executive coaching to support leadership development alongside the group.
Expert Speakers & Insights: Leading business thinkers deliver workshops and practical insights across strategy, leadership, talent, innovation and growth.
Global Connections: Access a network of more than 45,000 business leaders, alongside a strong local community of peers.
