Where VISTAGE Began

Empowering Leaders, Energising Success: Vistage’s 65-Year Journey

It began in 1957 when businessman Bob Nourse brought together several Milwaukee-area executives to help each other solve their business challenges. He ensured they were from non-competing industries and kept all conversations strictly confidential. He also invited business experts to share insights and experience.

Nourse’s approach delivered such strong results that his local group quickly grew into a global organisation with more than 45,000 members across 40 countries.

Over the past 65 years, Vistage has evolved to support increasingly diverse and complex businesses. However, it remains true to Bob Nourse’s original vision: to help high-integrity leaders make better decisions that benefit their companies, families and communities.
