When I stepped into a technology business that was underperforming and culturally fragmented, I reset the strategy, clarified accountability and aligned the organisation around a shared purpose. Within two years the business returned to profitability and engagement improved significantly. It reinforced for me the power of disciplined strategy, honest dialogue and collective ownership in driving sustainable results.

Martijn Laguna brings more than 25 years of international leadership experience and over a decade as a management consultant and executive coach. He partners with CEOs, business owners and senior executives to clarify strategy, navigate complexity and deliver sustainable growth.

Martijn’s strength-based, systemic approach creates a trusted and respectful environment where leaders can explore new opportunities, shift perspective, solve problems, and translate strategy into practical action. He has extensive experience facilitating executive offsites, cultural transformation programs and growth initiatives that elevate both performance and engagement.

Before transitioning into consulting and coaching, Martijn held senior executive roles including Managing Director, COO and Executive General Manager across publicly listed multinationals, privately held organisations, technology start-ups and SMEs. He carried full P&L responsibility across Australia, Europe and Asia-Pacific, delivering digital transformation, complex integration, turnarounds and accelerated growth programs.

He holds a Master’s degree in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Amsterdam, is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD), a credentialed coach (ACC) with the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and an accredited Organisational Coach (IECL). He currently serves as a Non-Executive Director of the ICF Australasia.
