Chair Profile

‘A defining point in my career was leading Prophecy International through a full transformation to a SaaS-based model. Bringing the team together to simplify the business, raise capital and refocus on innovation not only strengthened performance but also built clarity and resilience across the organisation. It highlighted for me the impact that steady leadership and aligned decision-making can have during times of uncertainty.’

Brad Thomas OAM is an experienced technology executive, Non-Executive Director and strategic advisor with more than 25 years leading growth, transformation, and operational change across SaaS, cybersecurity, AI, and enterprise software. His career includes CEO and senior executive roles at ASX-listed Prophecy International, Microsoft, Canon Australia, Lenovo, Novell, AAPT and Telstra, managing portfolios in regulated and globally distributed environments.

At Prophecy International, Brad led a significant shift to a cloud-first SaaS model. The company achieved consecutive years of double-digit growth, scaled recurring revenue, and broadened its global customer base, including deployments across defence, finance and government sectors.

Earlier in his career, Brad held senior roles overseeing large commercial portfolios, turnaround programs and regional operations across APAC, North America and Europe. His work has spanned capital strategy, investor relations, M&A, go-to-market execution, and the development of high-performance cultures in complex, fast-moving environments.

As a three-time Paralympian, OAM recipient and inductee in the Tasmanian Sporting Hall of Fame, Brad brings a distinctive perspective on resilience, clarity of vision and disciplined execution. His leadership approach centres on coaching, transparency and practical strategy—supporting CEOs and founders to refine direction, navigate disruption and build strong, scalable teams.
